Introducing our new Club Fund.

Built by students. Backed by strategy.

The Investment Club Zürich is a student-run initiative bringing together students from UZH, ETH Zurich, and ZHAW who share an interest in financial markets. Founded in 2025, our goal is to connect academic knowledge with practical experience by managing a paper fund together.

We regularly hold pitching events where members present their stock ideas and defend their assumptions. To keep our work grounded, we invite finance professionals to join selected sessions and provide feedback on our analysis and valuation approaches.

Investment Club Zürich is officially accredited by VSUZH and VS ETH. We welcome students from different academic backgrounds who are curious about the financial world and motivated to deepen their understanding through practical work and collaboration.

If you are interested in learning by doing and discussing markets with like-minded students, we look forward to connecting with you.

Investment Strategy

Our club consists of around 60 members, organized into 8 sector-focused subgroups. Each team analyzes companies within its sector, develops investment ideas, and builds valuation models to support its conclusions. The aim is to apply concepts from our studies directly to real-world companies and markets.

We follow a long-only equity approach. Valuation methods vary across sectors depending on what is most appropriate. In some cases, teams focus on detailed discounted cash flow (DCF) analysis; in others, broader macro-driven considerations or relative valuation frameworks play a larger role.

Through this structure, members gain exposure to different analytical approaches while maintaining a clear and disciplined investment focus.
