Currently in my last semester at UZH studying Business Administration, I’ve found our club, filled with engaging students, to be the perfect spot for lively discussions on how to analyse companies. It’s like we’re getting a head start on mastering the tools of the trade before we dive into the financial world.

In investing, it pays to be a generalist. It combines elements of business, economics, psychology, sociology, history, politics, technology, and law, as all have an impact on the markets. The goal is to be an intellectually honest investigative journalist who reaches the right conclusions before the market does and then waits until the market agrees. Therefore, it is very enriching to have students from diverse backgrounds collaborate to arrive at these right conclusions while learning from experienced business and investment managers.
